Australian iPhone weather forecast app which downloads information direct from the Bureua of Meteorology (BoM) website. Formerly known as BOM Radar, Rain Radar Australia has a nice interface that shows you animated radar images from all over the country.

Easy to use and seems to be constantly updated whic is a big plus for this app.

App Features

• Animated radar images (last 4 radar images from BOM site).
• Time in animated images are local time and not UTC.
• Radar ranges 64km, 128km, 256km, 512km area selectable where available.
• Ability to store favorites to quick access
• Zoom the radar map using pinch and pan to get a closer look at towns.
• Current weather observations to see current temperature, wind speed/direction, and rain fall since 9am in various locations.
• Locate Me options now shows the radars that cover your current location.
• Automatically load the top favorite on application launch

NOTE: This application only displays radar maps for Australia.
